I am the single mother of three daughters, with a hyper, reactive dog. We live in a community with a lot of people whose lifestyles diverge from us, but conformity is expected; owning a dog makes us “strange.” The dog park gives our lives a dimension outside the every day, and allows us to meet, mix, and mingle with people from all walks of life and every personality imaginable.
